Civil Engineers

Are you an experienced and motivated civil engineer?

Ideally you would be chartered, but if you have a strong design consultancy background and are working towards chartership, we would still be very keen to talk to you. 

You will have gained experience over a range of different project types and have a sound working knowledge of the relevant British Standards, Codes of Practice and CDM regulations. A full driving licence is essential too.

With this expertise you will be involved across the full project life cycle, from preparing fee quotations, managing project expenditure and technical report writing. Your written and interpersonal skills will be excellent, to work as part of project teams in site and design meetings which will include liaising with regulatory bodies, clients and architects.

You should be familiar with:

  • Drainage design (understanding Causeway Flow would be desirable but not necessary);

  • Highway design of access roads, pavements and hardstandings;

  • SuDS design;

  • Preparation of both Section 104 and Section 38 applications;

  • Preparation of flood risk assessments; and

  • Design of flood protection measures.

Structural Engineers

You may be chartered, but we would still be keen to talk to you if you have a strong design consultancy background with experience spanning a range of different project types utilising all the common structural materials.

You will have a sound working knowledge of the relevant British Standards, Codes of Practice and CDM regulations and a full UK driving licence.

Some key aspects of the job are:

  • Preparation of concept designs

  • Development and preparation of detail design

  • Liaising with clients, architects, consultants and other design team members

  • Attendance at design and site meetings

  • Supervising technician/graduate engineers

  • Preparing quotations

  • Managing project expenditure

  • Controlling workload

Technicians and Graduate Engineers

We are also looking for technicians to support our engineers in providing CAD and Revit designs for our projects. Working as part of a team, you will have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
